Bodó Gallery and Auction House 3rd Online Auction
The auction takes place exclusively online on the Axioart platform and runs until March 31, 2026. However, the items can also be viewed in person at the Bodó Gallery and Auction House from March 20 to 31, 2026.
The selection includes several noteworthy works that reflect the diversity of genres and eras in the collection. Among the items is a painting by August von Pettenkofen, a well-known figure of 19th-century Austro-Hungarian painting, as well as a view of Budapest by Ervin Körmendi Frim, evoking the urban atmosphere of the turn of the century. For those interested in modern Hungarian art, the works of János Balázs are particularly exciting, representing the unique, expressive world of one of the most distinctive creators of Hungarian naive painting.
The selection also includes paintings by Géza Vörös and István Mácsai, while the work of Ede Telcs represents the classical Hungarian sculptural tradition. Those who appreciate urban landscape painting can find a lyrically toned piece by Erzsébet Hikádi in the selection.
The material of the 3rd Online Auction thus presents a varied and exciting selection from classical masters to modern trends, appealing from a collector's perspective.
