When there is a poet in the team - or the sweet and crafty little poems of FalkArt Mini

Gilded ostrich egg

Tell me, Master, what is this bone-colored,

round sphere in your workshop?

I have never seen anything like it, yet

I am not entirely uneducated.

During cherry blossom season, when

I had just climbed out of lethargy,

a huge bird visited me

in my dream from North Africa.

The world's largest bird left

this shiny bubble on my pillow,

this fragile porcelain ball.

I embroidered it with gold. And now I am well.

The world became round, infinite and complete,

when I painted this ball.

It received bamboo and inlay, and since then

I always take it out in stressful situations.

Dog Walking Cane

This dog doesn’t run, doesn’t wag its tail,

but faithfully accompanies its master on the road.

During walks, it offers support with its slender body,

it doesn’t swim like a dog, but it doesn’t sink in water either.

Is its head a fierce one or a handle? Who knows!

What’s certain: among the similar ones it is a true rocker,

an aristocratic piece of wood, noble and elegant.

The hat is a Panama, the coat is a tailcoat, the cane head is a boxer.

Yellow pearl necklace with pendant

Where seven thousand islands embrace the southern sea,

bamboo rustles and the depths of the jungle are silent,

underwater treasures form in the waves:

shining spheres are birthed by golden shell lips.

A fishing boat rushes out to the white shore in Manila,

bringing a handful of light. A chain of sunlight balls

will be made from it, silk case, display case and

pendant preserve: a mysterious dance of a water fairy.

Red coral necklace

Limestone forest underwater:

a vase of flower creatures.

Drifting in the current

is a thousand red branches.

The shallow, warm lagoon lives:

colors and tones

its Art Nouveau exuberance

are preserved by glowing tropics.

A tiny branch falls into the water,

a red branch in the water.

It will become jewelry,

a delicate little branch for the heart.

A pearl nestles beside it:

they were born together.

Sapphires on a golden chain

send messages to the sea.

Decorative Flask

For a revolutionary mood, revolutionary porcelain!

The small barrel in the display talks in French.

La nation, la loi et le roi - the tin glaze says,

a decorative porcelain nozzle equals a flask.

Banners, cannons, hats, shields, coats of arms,

altogether it is very nineteenth century.

This flask shouts nation, law, king,

refresh your display or your mouth with it.

Buddha

Happiness does not depend on what you own,

but on what you think - said Buddha

two thousand five hundred years ago. Peace rises from within,

do not seek outside - he also said.

Yet we are now seeking him, outside of ourselves:

a one-meter carved figure, to the right of the entrance,

a work by a Vietnamese master, shiny, orange wood,

standing with closed eyes, hands folded in prayer.

Siddhartha - that was also the name of this strange man,

a very popular figure throughout Asia.

Find his peaceful little figure with us, stroke

its head, or even take it home in your backpack.

Murano Glass Dancer

As if made of translucent ribbons,

her blue dress flutters in the light.

The jellyfish tribe dances in colors,

her fine body is a union of fire and sand.

By her glass-formed movement

our restless mind becomes calm.

The angel of Murano in cobalt blue coat,

whispers: we are all fragile.

Black and White Plastic

I may fall apart into a thousand pieces, but even in pieces

I am still one.

Where I separate into black and white,

my body heals and aches at once.

I am a plastic image, a picture-like statue,

I distance myself from the edge of the image,

with my black heart I easily

separate the beginning from the end.
