The winners of the "Website of the Year" 2025 have been announced!
Award Ceremony at ETELE Cinema
The award ceremony took place on March 4, 2025, within the framework of the Digital Marketing Forum professional conference organized by the Hungarian Marketing Association at the exclusive ETELE Cinema.
At the event, participants from the digital world, developers, marketers, company leaders, and creative professionals celebrated the sector's most outstanding achievements. The honorary awards were announced by László István Varga, the founder of the application, and Gábor Bonyhádi, the chairman of the jury.
“Today, we are not just building websites, but digital intelligence. With the emergence of AI and autonomous agents, the web is no longer a static interface, but a monitoring, learning, and acting system. A modern website not only serves but understands, personalizes, and creates value in real-time. The question is no longer whether there will be AI in our digital presence, but who will build a real competitive advantage with it. I believe that among today's awardees are those who have already begun this future.” – said László István Varga, the founder of the application.
New category in 2025: “Every Business Should Have Its Own Website”
One of the most important novelties of 2025 was the introduction of a new category focusing on the digitization of domestic SMEs. The program initiated by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Demján Sándor Program “Every Business Should Have Its Own Website,” aims to reduce the digital lag of Hungarian small and medium enterprises and encourage them to establish their own professional online presence. The new category seeks to provide professional feedback and recognition to those companies that created or renewed their website within the framework of the program. The initiative signifies not only technological development but also a change in mindset: competitive operation is now unimaginable without a stable and conscious digital presence.
In this year's competition, the most applications were received in the Service (23), E-commerce (20), B2B Websites (16), and Brand Site (14) categories.
The Public Award was won by Mr. Alkohol with over 5,000 votes.
Among those leaving the stage with the ‘Website of the Year’ award were Billingo, Budavári Palotanegyed, Loupe Színházi Társulás, Vígszínház, BKK, Örökzöld Kertészet , Drivello , Salonic , Mateking, Prove, Bookstry, Cewe, BPW AGRAR, Eötvös DÖ webapp, Tunki-Tunki, Rózsás Rendelő, and the Campus Festival website.
The Capital of Internet Culture Award was once again won by Debrecen County City in 2025!
This year's grand prize, the “Website of the Year Absolute Award” was awarded to the MOHUpédia - Discover the World of Recycling project, conceived by the feat. Ltd. team. MOHUpédia is not just an educational platform but a digital milestone that elevates environmental awareness through the power of gamification. Here, creativity takes shape in the form of an entire interactive city, where learning becomes an experience for the youngest through the visual language of video games.
