The business breakfast organized by BUM for women entrepreneurs was successfully held at the Deák Palace
The latest business breakfast of the Shopping Street Management (BUM) took place with full attendance, involving nearly 30 participants, and specifically focused on women entrepreneurs. The aim of the event was to provide inspiration, practical knowledge, and real networking opportunities for the attendees.
The event was opened by Dr. Viktória Bódi, the Secretary General of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who quoted the thoughts of the chamber's female leaders in her greeting. The opening set the tone for the audience regarding the morning's topic: the role, challenges, and responsibilities of female leaders and entrepreneurs in today's economic environment.
Practical knowledge from three perspectives
The program focused on three different yet complementary areas: marketing, leadership thinking, and customer experience.
Éva Pálfi, president of the Women's Section of the Hungarian Marketing Association, highlighted how to consciously and authentically address female target groups in her presentation. She emphasized that reaching female consumers requires more than classic marketing tools—it necessitates genuine understanding, value-based communication, and responsible brand building.
Zsuzsanna Vető, a leadership coach, focused on internal operations, decision-making, and the issue of self-confidence. One of her key messages was that the first step is not self-confidence, but courage: smaller, conscious decisions and actions build confidence over the long term.
Tímea Nagy, a customer experience specialist, demonstrated how customer experience can become a real business advantage. Through practical examples, she illustrated that building loyalty and customer relationships intentionally is not a “soft” factor but a key to growth.
Inspiration and connection in one space
One of the greatest values of the event came from the personal connections formed. Participants were not just listeners of the presentations but active participants in the morning: during the introduction round and informal discussions, genuine professional relationships were established.
According to feedback, participants left with not only inspiration but also immediately applicable ideas and new perspectives. Many highlighted that topics discussed were relevant to every entrepreneur yet rarely received such focus.
The beginning of a successful initiative
The event reinforced the organizers' belief that there is a demand for thematic, community-building business breakfasts. Supporting female entrepreneurs is significant not only on an individual level but also economically—and such occasions play an important role in this.
A unique aspect of the program was that Éva Pálfi gifted the attendees an exclusive Trendbook and extended an invitation to the next WellBIZ Fest event, further strengthening professional connections.
The goal of BUM is to continue organizing similar value-creating events in the future, where entrepreneurs can not only learn but also connect with one another.
“We want to create a community space where entrepreneurs receive inspiration, practical knowledge, and genuine connections—and, based on feedback, we have succeeded.”
- said Gabriella Király, the manager of the shopping street of BUM Nonprofit Kft., the main organizer of the event.
