Time Travel in the Margaret Quarter

During the exploration of the Margaret Quarter, we uncovered not only the historical layers of the area but also touched upon special locations. One of the participants' favorites was the Bunker, which, with its exciting atmosphere and unique world, is a special highlight of the quarter. Our stop at Goosebumps on Fekete Sas Street was also a great success – here we could taste truly excellent coffees, which was a worthy conclusion to the walk. The program, interspersed with stories, architectural curiosities, and small surprises, once again proved that the Margaret Quarter is full of treasures waiting to be discovered.

Pozsonyi út – in the midst of stories

The next day we visited the Pozsonyi út in the heart of Újlipótváros, where the district's special, "rural" atmosphere and rich history came alive. One of the highlights of our walk was the Amikor Galéria, where we could stumble upon real treasures among antique and contemporary objects, even furniture. To conclude the program, we enjoyed the hospitality of the Három Tarka Macska, where we were welcomed with delicious samples. Participants were especially pleased to find that the bakery has multiple locations in the city, making the experience of the walk easily recallable later.

The March walks once again demonstrated how vibrant and continuously renewed Budapest is – where the stories of the past and the creative enterprises of the present strengthen each other, making the city truly exciting. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
