Business Trust and Community Building: Year-End Chamber Trust Club at BKIK
On November 20, the Márai Sándor Cultural Center hosted the BKIK Chamber Trust Club's year-end event, where businesses holding the Chamber Trust trademark gathered. The event was opened by **Dr. Viktória Bódi, the Secretary General of BKIK**, who evaluated the results of the club's first full year in her welcoming speech and emphasized the significance of strengthening the community. At the event, **Gábor Kerékgyártó**, the Chairman of the Chamber Trust Trademark Qualification Board, also spoke, highlighting the importance of trust-based business collaborations. As a key program of the club day, **Attila Antal, the Managing Director**, presented the activities of BUM Bevásárló és Tematikus Utcák Nonprofit Kft. The organization, operating with the support of BKIK, has already celebrated twelve successful years; it builds its operation on the Vienna model, expanded with several professional elements. BUM is the implementer of well-known and recognized initiatives throughout the city, such as the five-time City Marketing Diamond Award-winning SlowXmas event series or the further programs of the Shopping Street Management, such as business breakfasts that provide a forum for showcasing best practices and innovative solutions, or the "Workshop Festival" with creative community activities. This year, several domestic cities joined the BUM community. The organization has achieved significant successes not only at the national level: this year it also competed in the European arena and made it to the continental finals of the European Small Business Development Award announced by the European Commission and the Ministry of National Economy. The other invited speaker of the club day was **Dr. Ádám Balog**, the renewed president of KAVOSZ, who detailed the organization's current programs, financing options for businesses, and the changing conditions for accessing credit. At the event—following tradition—club members could introduce themselves to each other, and the center of professional discussions focused on businesses' creditworthiness, business reliability, and the significance of trust-based business communities. The annual summary of the **Chamber Trust Program** was presented by **Péter Keszthelyi**, the Vice Chairman of the Chamber Trust Trademark Qualification Board. In his presentation, he highlighted that the Program has now entered its third full year, and the chamber community is increasingly welcoming the initiative: the number of businesses holding the Chamber Trust trademark has now exceeded 250, and the club's activities play a significant role in the community’s expansion. According to the proposals for the coming year, conscious health protection will take center stage in March 2026 as one of the defining pillars of successful businesses. The Chamber Trust system has now been renewed internationally and is being applied more broadly in many countries around the world. An increasing number of mixed chambers and foreign chamber representations are joining the network, further strengthening the program's credibility and international embedding. Special thanks for the success of the event and the smooth execution of the club day goes to **Anikó Nagyné Antal**, who handles the organization of the Chamber Trust trademark and the club and ensured the high-quality implementation of this event as the host.
