Business Spotlight – Get Noticed Online!

What does someone find about your business when they search for it today?

A potential client searches for your business on Google, checks your social media profiles, reads reviews, looks at photos, compares with others – and often decides before even contacting you.

The Entrepreneurial Spotlight – Get in Focus Online! is a practical program for small businesses on how to effectively build and enhance a company’s digital presence to truly serve business goals.

We are not preparing for a long, theoretical training: this is an intensive, easy-to-understand, and interactive session after which you can return to your business with concrete ideas and feasible development proposals.

Date: October 7, 2026, 10:00 AM–12:30 PM
Location: BKIK Headquarters, 3rd Floor, Room 301
Participation: free of charge, but registration is required
Capacity: up to 25 people

What will be discussed?

Who do you want to sell to?

Digital presence starts with business goals and target audience. We will look at who the real clients of your business might be, where you can meet them online, and which platform you should engage with. We will also discuss what level of presence you may need on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or other social media platforms.

What does Google find about you?

For many businesses, online search is the first point of contact. We will deal with Google Business Profile, the role of reviews and opinions, photos, contact details, local searches, and the first impression an interested party gets of your business.

Do you need a website or webshop?

Not every business requires the same digital system. We will look at when it makes sense to use a classic website, webshop, landing page, online booking, request for quote, or registration options, and when a simpler yet well-structured online presence might suffice.

The most important question in every case is the same: what do you want the interested party to do?

What and how to communicate?

Online presence alone is not enough: it requires content, character, and consistency. We’ll discuss what can make a business recognizable, what is worth showing, how trust can be built, and how to avoid generic, template communications.

AI in business communication

AI can be a natural part of everyday work if used consciously as a tool. We will show how it can assist in content creation, brainstorming, analysis, and organization, and how it can help produce valuable, authentic communication instead of mass-produced, generic AI content.

Planned program

10:00–10:10 – Welcome, central question and program goals
10:10–10:25 – Who do we want to sell to? Target audience and platform choice
10:25–10:45 – What does Google find about us?
10:45–11:00 – Do we need a website, webshop, or other online solution?
11:00–11:20 – What and how should we communicate?
11:20–11:30 – Short break
11:30–11:50 – AI in business communication
11:50–12:20 – Live business analysis
12:20–12:30 – Summary and questions

Live business analysis

At the end of the presentation, we will jointly examine the business of a voluntarily participating attendee.

We will search as a potential client would, and we will look at, among other things:

  • what Google finds about it;
  • what its social media profiles show;
  • how clear its offer is;
  • what first impression it creates;
  • where the interested party might get lost;
  • where there are quick opportunities to be seized.

Participants can register separately for the live analysis. Those interested must agree that their business's publicly accessible digital surfaces will be reviewed with the participants. The presented business will be selected in advance.

Free digital presence audit for all participants

Every participant at the event can request a free, personalized digital presence audit for their own business.

The starting point of the audit is the same question as the program:

What does someone who searches for your business today see?

During the analysis, we will examine:

  • how someone searching for the given product or service can find you;
  • what someone specifically searching your business's name finds;
  • what image an ordinary user receives about you;
  • what the same surfaces show from an expert perspective;
  • how clear the next step is for the interested person.

The audit addresses relevant Google search results and Google Business Profile, the website or landing page, social media profiles, content, and visual and communication consistency from the business perspective.

At the end of the analysis, participants will receive concrete development proposals, priorities, and realistically actionable next steps.

Register by September 15, and receive your audit at the event!

Those who register by September 15, 2026, request the audit by that date, and provide the necessary data for its preparation will have their analysis prepared in advance. The audit will be given in printed and electronic format at the end of the event on October 7.

Registrants after September 15 can also request the free audit. They will receive the analysis in electronic format within a maximum of three weeks following the event.

To prepare the audit, we request the business name, main activity or service, location or service area, and links to its website, Google Business Profile, and social media profiles if available during registration.
