Attila Antal: we will have plenty of tasks and programs this fall!
Where do you stand, what are your plans for the autumn?
Regarding the shopping streets, the most important news is that thanks to the support won from the MKIK, the complete renewal of the bevasarloutca.hu website has been completed. The site has become program-centered and the most exciting events and happenings are now in focus. The content upload is ongoing, reflecting the new features. In spring, the first Workshop Festival debuted successfully, so the organization of the autumn event is already in progress, which will take place from November 14-16. Currently, the recruitment for the workshops is underway! The invitations for the first autumn BUM breakfast have already been sent out - it will be held on September 16 at Bartók - and the other one will take place on November 18 in the Margit quarter. Additionally, our "BUM Social Connect" entrepreneurial afternoon will debut on October 16, during which we will organize relaxed afternoon programs for chatting and socializing.
Regarding kibérelem.hu: we have started website development and portfolio expansion with our new strategic partner, Redon Solutions and Skyline Law, along with the current developer and the geomarketing colleague. The design of the new features and appearance of the site is in progress. Currently, the design integration is happening. The expected completion of the development is slated for early November 2025.
With the value proposition developed in cooperation with BKIK for 2024, we reached out to every municipality at the beginning of this year. This has brought breakthroughs in certain districts, thereby expanding our network. It is expected that we will be involved in local projects in the II, IV, X, XXI, and XXIII districts. Work is just starting with the XXIII district.
We have contacted every city about the possibility of cooperation, which has already started with the cities of Győr, Debrecen, Szolnok, Szombathely, and Miskolc.
Further events?
On October 3-4, we are preparing a two-day cultural adventure on Falk Miksa Street, evoking the old Falk Art Forum Festivals and showcasing the many treasures in the galleries located there.
Our autumn thematic walks are: October 10 (Friday) at 4:00 PM: Tompa Street - Ferenc Square; October 11 (Saturday) at 2:00 PM: Lövőház Street; November 7 (Friday) at 4:30 PM: Víziváros; November 8 (Saturday) at 2:00 PM: Liszt Ferenc Square and its surroundings; November 21 (Friday) at 4:00 PM: Ráday Street; November 22 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM: Rákóczi Square.
Our five-time City Marketing Diamond Award-winning program series, SlowXmas 2025, will take place from November 25 to December 24, which is like an advent calendar, offering a concert, exhibition, theater performance, or workshop every day. The focus is on cooperation and caring for one another.
What connections and opportunities does the autumn work of BUM open up for BKIK?
One of them is the Microcredit program of the Budapest Business Development Foundation (BVK), which was specifically created for the renovation of business premises and district rentals. This aligns excellently with the cooperation between BKIK and the Budapest districts in this area. The structure is also great for supplementing the Széchenyi card. Another opportunity for connection is our previously mentioned "BUM Social Connect" entrepreneurial afternoon.
... and if you think anything else is important...
I am eagerly awaiting the EU-level results scheduled for the end of September after the national round of the European Enterprise Development Award. It is certain, as I have already received the invitation and the plane ticket, that I will participate in the EU SME Assembly in Copenhagen from November 10-12, where the award ceremony will also take place.
Thank you, Attila, we wish you much success!
