A Great Start to the Year – An Exciting First Business Breakfast

Our first Business Breakfast of the year drew considerable interest once again, offering attendees the opportunity to get better acquainted with our host, Bartók Boulevard.

The event took place on January 21st at the iconic Hadik Café (1114 Budapest, Bartók Béla út 36.), where all the conditions were in place to welcome guests in an excellent setting. Participants came from various shopping streets, including the Margit Quarter, Ráday Street, and the Tompa Street – Ferenc Square area, with many joining us from Bartók Boulevard as well.

We kicked off the morning with a short overview highlighting current updates, this year’s upcoming events, and the support and opportunities we provide through the Shopping Street Management program. We then invited Bartók Boulevard to present their association as a model example, showcasing the collaborative work they have been doing for over a decade along Bartók Béla Street and its surrounding area.

István Fári, President of the Association, delivered the main presentation. Following his talk, the leaders of the thematic working groups, or “lounges,” also gave brief insights into their respective areas: Tibor Bosznai introduced the Gastronomy Lounge, Ildikó Tompa spoke on behalf of Dóra Votin for the Gallery Lounge, and Ágnes Rita Kiss presented the Cultural-Creative Lounge. They shared their plans and highlighted the strong relationship developed with the local municipality—one that we hope will continue to provide a solid foundation for cooperation and cultural event organization over the next five years.

We had the chance to meet everyone in attendance, and as always, we appreciated the diversity of participants’ backgrounds and activities. Building connections and getting to know each other better remains a key goal of ours. We are always happy to welcome new participants, as well as those who consistently join us for these Breakfasts.

Our next event will take place on February 18, 2025, from 9:30 AM at Paris-Texas Café (1092 Budapest, Ráday utca 22.). Invitations will be sent out soon—join us and let’s talk! We are always glad to hear your topic suggestions and aim to support you in any way we can.
