The original music of 2in2out is characterized by the blending of traditional elements and contemporary jazz as well as experimentation, which provides space for freeform improvisation and guarantees the uniqueness of each performance. The band was founded by saxophonist Nela Dusova and guitarist Jan Lacina, whose compositions are the core of the repertoire. Later they were joined by the double bass player Klara Pudlakova and Adam Sikora on the drum kit. 2in2out has managed to develop from a student project into one of the most interesting Czech jazz bands in recent years. In June 2024 the band will release an album on the label Bivak Records.
