These 10 years have almost flown by, but so much has happened that we can hardly count them.
The Shopping Street Management (BUM), which is 10 years old this year, was established by the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the aim of supporting the entrepreneurs of the shopping and thematic streets in Budapest. These streets are special partly because the entrepreneurs in them try to carry out their daily activities in cooperation with each other.
The basic goal has not changed, but as the environment, the economy and the actors change, the priorities are constantly evolving. New and new challenges force us to step up, so that we can continue to operate as an organization that can also serve new needs. That is why we are renewing Shoppingstreet Management along a new strategy. We are developing the individual areas so that support for businesses is more targeted and more organizations can join the program. An important aspect is the use of smart solutions, environmental awareness, sustainability and the development of digital skills in businesses.
